"to get the drift boost you have to move the stick left and right twice. So, say you want to drift left. You hold the R button while holding left on the control stick to start the drift. Then while still holding R, in order to get the boost, at some point during the drift you have to move the stick right, then left, then right, then left again. You should have orange sparks at that point which indicates your boost is ready to go when you finish the drift. This is also how Mario Kart 64 and DS work"

The X button for dodge only works if the joystick is pressed either left or right before the X button is pressed. If the X button is pressed without the joystick it doesn't dodge

Escape the fort starts at 3:25.
I went to the west side of the fort, hid in the branch pile, killed the guard inside the fort, killed the one outside the fort and took the long way around to the meetup spot.
